JLL’s professional advisory team in Southampton has two new faces.
Rebecca Newton joins as lead director from defence and technology company QinetiQ. Having worked for a number of large organisations, Rebecca brings a wealth of asset management experience to the team. Claire Elderfield has been appointed associate director, having previously worked at property company Goadsby, CBRE and Bilfinger GVA.
Rebecca and Claire join Steven Farndell who has worked at JLL as a director for 12 years. The newly expanded team will bolster JLL’s lease advisory and commercial valuation services, which focus on offering companies advice on any aspect of commercial leases and property valuations.
Michael Green, head of JLL’s office in Southampton, said: “Rebecca and Claire’s arrival to the team signifies our decision to significantly grow this part of the business in the South of England. Their combined knowledge and experience is a valuable addition to our services and they have both hit the ground running. We have now added 10 new surveyors to our team over the last 12 months alone, and will be announcing further appointments shortly.”
Rebecca added: “I’ve spent a lot of time in my previous roles advising major corporates on all areas of freehold and leasehold asset management and I’m looking forward to applying this expertise for the benefit of JLL’s clients.”
Claire said: “JLL’s client base is impressive and I’m looking forward to helping grow the business and build relationships within the team and with our clients.”
The team’s existing clients include Royal Mail, Shell, Winchester City Council, HCA, RBS, Barclays, Santander and Lloyds.
