Blue Marble Asset Management (Blue Marble) and Antringham Developments have let a 2,172 sq ft office suite in the heart of Birmingham’s professional district.
Acting on behalf of its client Pemberstone Group, the Birmingham-based real estate asset management specialist has let the top floor of 63 Church Street, Birmingham, B3 2DP, to Lifetime Training Group on a new five year lease.
The letting follows a complete refurbishment of 16,146 sq ft of prime office space at 57-63 Church Street by Blue Marble, which acquired the office building, in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, at the end of 2014. The ground floor suite has already been let to international beauty brand, Elemis, but three floors, each of around 3,600 sq ft still remain available at a quoting rent of £18psf.
“63 Church Street is prime office space in a good location and, as a result we are seeing high levels of interest in the remaining space,” says Tim Matthews, Chief Executive of Blue Marble Asset Management.
“63 Church Street is a prime example of how Blue Marble works, investing strategically in properties to which we can add value and deliver the sort of returns our client is seeking. In this instance we are working in joint venture with Antringham Developments.”
Joe Shorney, letting agent at GBR Phoenix Beard who advised on the deal said: “Lifetime Training Group and Elemis are great additions to 63 Church Street. The entire area has been boosted by the investment in the pedestrianised Church Square. Add to that the investment and refurbishment programme by Blue Marble which is now completed to a high specification, we feel this is an excellent option for businesses seeking prime city centre office space.”
Bilfinger GVA and GBR Phoenix Beard advised Blue Marble on the deal and are the joint letting agents for the property.
