Helix Property Advisors, on behalf of Harmsworth Pension Fund Trustees, has completed a new lease of the ground, mezzanine and lower ground floor retail accommodation at 101 Jermyn Street, London to Charles Tyrwhitt Limited.
The well-known shirt maker and outfitter has signed a new lease on the property, enabling the business to extend its existing premises at the neighbouring 98-99 Jermyn Street.
Charles Tyrwhitt previously took an assignment of an existing lease on the property. The new lease commences in June 2019, at an annual rent of £350,000, and will expire in January 2031.
Yvonne Smith at Helix Property Advisors said: “Charles Tyrwhitt’s brand is synonymous with the elegance and craftsmanship of British luxury shirt making. This transaction provides it with the ability to expand its flagship store in Jermyn Street, further boosting the neighbourhood’s global reputation as a retail destination for luxury clothing.”
Helix Property Advisors was represented by Jackson Criss. Charles Tyrwhitt was advised by Savills.
