More than 70 members of the Torfaen business community attended the first Torfaen Business Voice networking event of 2016 at Greenmeadow Golf Club on Thursday (10 March).
As well as the opportunity to network, businesses heard from Andrew Tuggey, High Sheriff of Gwent, about the Gwent High Sheriffs’ Community Fund and the work it does helping disadvantaged young people in the community.
The also heard from Nigel Russell from Run 4 Wales about this year’s Velothon Wales, and had an opportunity to ask questions about how local businesses can make the most of the event.
Torfaen Business Voice holds quarterly networking events throughout the year and members can take advantage of a range of benefits including networking opportunities, workshops and training events.
