The last two units on the latest phase of the East Somerset region’s premier business park have been sold.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the sale of the adjoining 5,000 sq ft Units M3 and M4 on the New Trade Zone at Frome’s Commerce Park to Total Plumbing.
Myddelton & Major Senior Surveyor Rachael Ward said: “Total Plumbing will be completing the line-up at this highly successful business park’s latest development.
“It’s not hard to see why Commerce Park is doing so well. It is wonderfully located on the Somerset/Wiltshire border midway between the M4, M5 and A303 corridors and has excellent road and rail links, including its own access roundabout.
“The decision to develop the park – north east of Frome town centre – has proved to be a masterstroke, with more than 100 jobs created as the demand for high-quality industrial space regionally from new and expanding companies continues to grow.
Total Plumbing, headquartered in Honiton, Devon, is an independent plumbers’ merchant supplying to both trade and public customers in Dorset, Somerset and Devon.
Established in 2001, and now with branches in Chard, Shepton Mallet, Axminster and Honiton, the firm has built a reputation for supplying quality products with good old-fashioned personal service.
The Park is just two miles south of the junction of the A36 and A361 (Frome bypass), 14 miles south of Bath and 13 miles from the A303.
Other occupiers include Premier Inn, Fed Ex, Screwfix, skincare specialists Primavera, beauty products firm Acheson & Acheson and homeware firm Cox & Cox.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2015 for the fourth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
