The Crescent, Hinckley, is set to welcome a brand new, national retailer this spring.
GHM! – which stands for Guess How Much! – is a new concept from Pepkor UK, the company behind Pep & Co that opened 50 new town centre fashion stores in 50 days last summer.
GHM! will include the PEP&CO clothing range as well as being a price leader on grocery brands and will also feature homeware items too.
The company is led by Koray Gul (managing director), Simon Singleton (operations director), Chris Burns (trading director) and Roy Ellis (finance director) all of whom have a strong retail pedigree.
GHM! is aiming to open at The Crescent in the week commencing May 30 and it will be the company’s first UK store, with several more set to follow. It will create around new 20 jobs in the town.
Tony Baker, a director of the Tin Hat Partnership – the developers behind The Crescent, Hinckley, said: “This is a very exciting addition to the development.
“It’s great to be able to boast a UK first and the team behind GHM! are very confident that this is going to be a big success as they have been looking at Hinckley for some time.”
GHM! follows on from Cineworld, Sainsbury’s, Costa, TK Maxx, Tarro Lounge, Elbow Room, Wed2B, FAB and Mobility and Lifestyle which have all opened at the Crescent with Burger King, Prezzo, Poundland and Rossini set to follow.
