This month saw the leading UK regeneration specialist, St. Modwen, complete the sale of a 37,200 sq ft speculative unit at its Access 18 development. The building has been purchased by Kent Foods Ltd, one of Europe’s largest independent suppliers in the food manufacturing industry.
Pete Davies, Senior Development Manager for St. Modwen in the South West, said:
“Our Access 18 development continues to progress with the recent handover of the 43,100 sq ft bespoke unit to Hermes Parcelnet Ltd and now the sale of this speculative building to Kent Foods Limited.
“Work is already underway on two further speculative units at the site, providing 33,570 – 68,350 sq ft of prime industrial and warehouse accommodation. Units will be ready to occupy in September and October this year, and occupiers can secure the opportunities now on a purchase basis. We are also ready to deliver further bespoke property solutions for businesses looking to locate at this strategic site near Junction 18 of the M5 and M49 motorways.”
The £150m commercial scheme can accommodate design and build opportunities from 10,000 sq ft to 300,000 sq ft, to rent or purchase, and has the capacity to accommodate up to 2,200,000 sq ft of employment space.
The site is currently home to businesses including national paper distributor, Antalis; catering suppliers, Nisbet PLC; greetings card manufacturer, Budget Greetings Cards; Richard Austin Alloys and Flexipads World Class Ltd.
