A Solihull business that began the development of its award-winning software services in 2006, and now has clients across Europe, has made its fifth office move in ten years after winning new clients and increasing its team size. It has also changed its name and created a new-look website.
Contigo, which was formerly called Trayport Contigo, only began trading ten years ago, but its success has seen the team go from four to forty, and there are plans to double this figure within the next five years.
The business creates easy-to-use software that is used by energy businesses including Ecotricity, Energy Team, Extra Energy, Centrica and First Utility, as well as companies across Europe.
Co-founder and managing director, Adrian Bullock comments: “We are delighted that our growth has enabled us to move to the prestigious Radcliffe House offices in the centre of Solihull. We began trading from the Blythe Valley Innovation Centre in Solihull, and had to move to larger offices there a number of times as we grew, so it’s great to now have a large office space that has room for future expansion and has been fitted out to reflect the modern and innovative nature of our business.
“We are employing talented developers, business consultants and customer service professionals and expect to be recruiting on a regular basis over the coming years, as our business continues to grow.”
Contigo supplies and implements its award-winning enTrader software, which simplifies energy trading and risk management (ETRM), and can be delivered in the Cloud. In the last 18 months the company has won new clients in the UK, Switzerland, Denmark and Germany.
Adrian continues: “We are providing our modern and flexible software that makes complex business activities much simpler, and can make a real difference to how a business operates. While many of our competitors can take years to implement their software for clients, we are able to do this in a few months. We also provide ongoing support for clients as their businesses and their requirements change over time. We are winning large accounts across Europe, and this demonstrates the success of our strategic direction and technical capabilities.”
Contigo’s plans for the future include supporting clients onto using their software with Cloud based delivery. Adrian adds: “The number of clients choosing delivery in the Cloud is increasing dramatically, with forty percent of our new clients now choosing this option. There are considerable operational and financial benefits of choosing this route, so an important aim is to increase this across our client base.
“Contigo means ‘with you’ and we are passionate about working in partnership with clients to ensure they have the very best solutions that bring real business benefits and value.”
