GBR Phoenix Beard has secured a new contract to provide property management services at CNM Estates’ iconic Tolworth Tower. The appointment follows several months of working with CNM in the run up to their acquisition of the scheme in October 2015, offering advice on all aspects of the management arrangements including service charge regimes and refurbishment plans. This is a significant new mandate for independent property consultants GBR Phoenix Beard and is indicative of the firm’s growing national client base.
The 300,000 sq ft mixed-use Tolworth Tower comprises newly refurbished office space and is also home to tenants including Close Brothers, Lowell Group and HMRC. Travelodge, M&S and Boots are amongst the high profile retail and leisure operators on site.
Speaking about the announcement, Wahid Samady of CNM said:
“We have ambitious plans for Tolworth Tower, and by working in close, collaborative partnership with all of our advisers and consultants including GBR Phoenix Beard, we are looking to maximise the potential of the Tower by improving efficiency and enhancing on-site service amenity, as well as our wider long term asset enhancing development plans, given the green light by the Royal Borough of Kingston and GLA.”
John Sexton, an associate director with GBR Phoenix Beard added:
“This appointment is significant to our portfolio. We are proud to have been appointed by Wahid and his team, and look forward to making a tangible difference to the environment for visitors and occupiers to this high profile development.”
Tolworth Tower is located on the A3 Kingston by-pass, between junction 9 and 10 of the M25.
