International consultants Wavelength Marketing have taken new offices in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter in a deal put together by property agents Bond Wolfe.
The company has acquired a long leasehold on the ground floor unit at 10 Hylton Street.
Charles London, of Bond Wolfe’s commercial agency department, said: “It is a fantastic self-contained office situated in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
“We saw significant demand for the property and achieved the full asking price within weeks of commencing marketing.
“Demand for freehold offices in the Jewellery Quarter has increased substantially over the past 12 months, benefiting from the short walking distance to the financial district and several notable residential schemes coming to fruition.
“We have a number of purchasers registered with us looking for similar properties.”
Darren Coleman, managing consultant and founder of Wavelength Marketing, which is moving from Bradford Street in Digbeth, commented: “We spent quite some time looking for commercial space with Digbeth and the Jewellery Quarter being target locations.
“We eventually found 10 Hylton Street and it fits our requirements ideally. It’s a charismatic building in an ideal location with excellent transport links. We’re very much looking forward to making it Wavelength’s new home.”
The Jewellery Quarter rail and Metro stations are just 200 yards away on Vyse Street.
Specialising in brand advice, Wavelength Marketing clients include Nikon, Standard Life, Zurich Insurance, BUPA, Dubai Properties Group and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
The ground floor unit provides 879 sq ft of space and the asking price was £185,000.
