Worcester’s thriving economy has seen recruitment and training experts eResponse Group moving premises – creating four new jobs and regenerating a city centre building in the process.
The jobs firm has moved to its new 6,000 sq ft. office opposite the railway station at 57 Foregate Street, just doors away from its previous branch.
It represents a £110,000 investment by the award-winning company which already employs a team of eight recruitment and training consultants in the city.
The new branch, which is headed by newly promoted branch manager Gareth Matts, will provide more than 3,500 sq ft of dedicated space for their recruitment team and a further 2,500 sq ft of classrooms where eResponse will deliver a variety of commercial, industrial and professional service-related training courses.
The investment has also seen the building equipped with latest technology allowing job applicants to register, search and apply for vacancies using a bank of iPads situated in its reception area.
Paul Alekna, chief executive of eResponse Group, said: “This six-figure investment is part of our continued growth plans. It’s a significant step forward for us in Worcester and is a sign of our faith in the city’s economy which is going from strength to strength.
“We’re also delighted to be bringing more jobs to the city throughout this year and under the leadership of Gareth, we are convinced our recruitment and training offering in Worcester will develop further and help get more people into work or developing their skills.”
eResponse is headquartered in Redditch and first moved into Worcester in 2008. The company was formed in 2003 by Alekna and his brother Joe and has gone on to employ over 100 people in seven branches across the region.
In 2014 the Group was placed at number 44 in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and was voted one of the UK’s top employers.
