Five new jobs have been created at a new betting shop opened by Coral Racing Limited in Nottingham city centre.
Acting on behalf of Coral, Jonathon Seddon of NG Chartered Surveyors, acquired the 1,400 sq ft site for the betting and gaming company’s third site in Nottingham city centre.
The new shop, in Beastmarket Hill, just off Old Market Square, is equipped with high tech television screens and four modern betting terminals.
Stuart Wonham, Coral area manager, said: “This is a prime location for us in Nottingham. We have high tech screens and a great environment for people to watch all the live sporting events – and if they so choose, they can place a bet.”
Coral is well represented throughout the county and employs more than 100 people across Notts. Coral has taken the unit on a 15-year lease.
Jonathon Seddon of NG who did the deal said: “Coral is a forward-looking company, creating modern environments where people can enjoy a flutter on a variety of events.
“This site is really suited to Coral’s needs and slap bang in the middle of the city centre.”
The unit, opposite Debenhams, is close to other occupiers such as Greggs, Northern Rock, Cheltenham and Gloucester and Burtons.
The landlord was represented by FHP.
