Thomson Travel Agents have upsized and relocated from their existing unit at 20 Long Row to 5 Long Row, bringing them closer to Nottingham’s busiest shopping street — Clumber Street.
Acting on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management, FHP agreed terms for the 1,932 sq ft unit which places Thomson adjacent to Primark and in closer proximity to their competitor Thomas Cook.
It follows on the back of a number of successful lettings in the area for FHP, one also being on Long Row to American fast food chain, Five Guys, and another being on Angel Row to Pieminister, who are due to open this month. The existing Schuh store on Long Row has just been put under offer to a national multiple operator by FHP.
Part of the TUI group, Thompson Travel are one of the leading travel companies in the UK with 650 stores, 1 in Nottingham city centre, 1 out of town at the Meadow Retail Park as well as one in West Bridgford.
Director in FHP’s Retail and Leisure Team, Alan Pearson, let the property:
“Long Row continues to generate a lot of interest given its central location and being situated adjacent to the busiest high street of Clumber Street and the many events held in the Market Square throughout the year.”
