Tomorrow’s property hotshots get the lowdown from LSH

Adam Ramshaw of Lambert Smith Hampton

Students at Nottingham Trent University explored a future career in the commercial property industry with a presentation from Lambert Smith Hampton’s (LSH) head of office in the East Midlands.

The final year students, who are studying the RICS accredited real estate course at the university are all well on their way to beginning careers as surveyors.

The undergraduates spent time with Adam Ramshaw, LSH’s head of office in Birmingham and the East Midlands, who told them all about the various roles in the commercial property sector and discussed what they could expect from working in the industry.

Adam said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the students at Nottingham Trent. It’s great to see young, bright people engaged with the idea of working in commercial property too.

“It is really important to LSH that we take every opportunity to nurture young talent and encourage them to take up a career in the sector and that’s why we are always delighted to be invited to these kind of meetings.

“I hope that we can speak to many more students in the coming months and help ensure that the commercial property sector continues to encourage and nurture people with the skills it needs to grow in the future.”

In 2015, LSH – a leading national commercial property consultancy – launched its new graduate academy, a national scheme which aims to bring some of the brightest and best young talent into the commercial property industry.
