CBRE has appointed Victoria Hill as Regional Director to expand the firm’s Capital Advisory (Debt & Structured Finance) team, bringing real estate finance advisory and brokerage expertise to the UK regions for the first time. Victoria will be based in Manchester as the first team member to work outside of London.
An investment surveyor by background, Victoria has spent the last 10 years in the property finance industry at RBS providing joint venture equity, mezzanine and senior debt facilities to UK funds, PropCos and HNWIs.
At CBRE, Victoria will work closely with the Capital Markets teams in Manchester and the regions to extend the Debt & Structured Finance capability directly to those markets. Victoria will support clients in all debt-related aspects of transactions focusing on origination, structuring, sourcing and the procurement of debt facilities, bringing together lenders with regional appetite with borrowers acquiring regional assets.
John Ogden, Managing Director of CBRE’s North West business, said;
“Victoria brings a brand new skillset to the office, one which our competition just don’t have in the regional markets. This is great news for us as a business, giving us a real advantage in the marketplace and demonstrates our commitment to delivering the best possible service to our clients. We are delighted to welcome Victoria to the team.”
Victoria added;
“My specialism in regional lending brings a new service to clients in the regions and is a dedicated resource that isn’t commonplace amongst regional offices. I am looking forward to advising clients on debt finance in all asset classes and sectors and for both investment and development facilities. There is an array of lenders active in the regional marketplace to assist our clients. This
new regional role enables me to utilise my background in both surveying and banking to bring a unique understanding of real estate finance to CBRE’s regional business.”
