Browne Jacobson has boosted its public sector team with the appointment of senior lawyer Anita Bradley in to its Nottingham office.
Anita joins the firm having been the Head of Legal Services and Monitoring Officer of Cheshire East Borough Council where she was a member of the Corporate Leadership Board. She has over 25 years’ experience as a practising solicitor, which includes 12 years in private practice. Prior to her role at Cheshire East Borough Council, Anita was the Head of Legal Services and Monitoring Officer at Mansfield District Council, where she went on to be appointed Head of Corporate Administration for IT and Human Resources.
Anita joins the firm’s administrative, planning and environmental law team who are highly regarded by Legal 500 2015 and Chambers & Partners 2016 for the strength and breadth of work they do with various governmental bodies, regulators and NGO’s. The firm’s client portfolio includes the Welsh Government, Natural England, Natural Resources Wales, the Environment Agency and over 200 local authorities in England and Wales.

This latest senior appointment takes their partner head count up to 104 and follows on from a successful year for the law firm which in November last year saw them enter the Top 50 UK law firm rankings for the first time after posting a record turnover of £58.9m for 2014/15.
