A new residential estate agency is opening up shop in a prominent position in Waterlooville after signing a 10-year lease.
This follows property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully negotiating the letting of Unit 10, The Boulevard, London Road to Wainwright Estates with a quoting rent of £15,500 per annum leasehold.
Myddelton & Major Partner Simon Lee said: “We welcome this new residential estate agency dealing with sales and lettings opening in central position and adding to vibrant mix of new occupiers in the Boulevard.
“Wainwrights joins other nearby retailers, including leading national chains Costa Coffee, Travelcare, SpecSavers, Halifax Bank, O2, Three Cooks, Barnardo’s and Robert Dyas in prominent trading positions.
“The well-located Boulevard forms a busy pedestrian thoroughfare, linking the main pedestrian section of London Road with Dukes Walk shopping centre, anchored by Waitrose and Wilkinson
“This letting shows the continued confidence in Waterlooville’s ability to attract retailers to the town.”
Busy Waterlooville, population around 20,000, is eight miles north of Portsmouth, with the A3M motorway approximately one mile to the east.
Other retail units on the Boulevard are available through Myddelton & Major, now with revised rents.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2015 for the fourth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
