Leading workplace consultant, Saracen Interiors has commenced work on site in Hammersmith for one of its existing blue chip clients. The structural refurbishment project, valued at approximately £1 million, has been undertaken by Saracen Facilities, the company’s FM division, and involves a rolling programme of maintenance and repair work.
Saracen has worked for the client, a leading global environmental services provider, for over a decade, carrying out fit outs and small works across the company’s UK commercial property portfolio. This latest project, an investigative programme of work, includes repairs to the roof areas and brickwork and the refurbishment of the carpark which has been water logged. All work is being carried out around existing tennants with the minimum of disruption.
Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted to have the Saracen Facilities team ensconced at this address: The team is working in what was the old Lyons building; a site which comes with some historic significance and is known in the wider area.
“Although we’ve done a lot of work with this client over the years, this is the first time it has engaged our facilities team for stand alone services and we see it as a clear demonstration of the trust that the client has in our company and the brand. It gives a strong message about Saracen Facilities – we’re a safe pair of hands.”
Saracen Facilities has built up a strong base of customers since its launch, alongside Saracen Small Works and Saracen Move Management, almost three years ago. Customers appreciate the team’s high level of expertise and its knowledge of all aspects of commercial property as well as the division’s 24/7 integrated care solution.
Saracen’s recent clients include Coca-Cola Enterprises, CH2M, YUM Restaurants, Tata Communications, TE Connectivity, Loma Systems, Gray’s Inn Chambers, Libra Group, Creature of London, Aspect Property Group, First Property Group, Audatex, Athena Partners, Motofix, Flight Safety, Countrywide PLC, Knight Frank, Mitie Engineering, Pizza Hut, Redrow Homes, Thames Water, Toshiba, TAG Aviation, Viatel, BAE Systems, Sue Ryder Care, North Surrey Primary Care Trust, Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital NHS Trust.
