Whistl has taken a new 10-year lease at Meridian in Marlow in a deal secured by CBRE and joint agent Deriaz Slater. Whistl has taken the entire office building which is just over 17,000 sq ft following a comprehensive refurbishment of the two-building scheme.
Acting on behalf of Pruta Property Limited, the deal was completed just six months after the scheme was launched to the market.
Luke Hacking, Senior Director in the CBRE National Office Agency, said: “This two-building scheme was extensively refurbished and delivered ahead of the competition and capitalized on its position. We are delighted to have let Meridian just six months after completion and securing Whistl is testament to the quality of the product.”
Andrew Branch, for Pruta Property, said: “Medina and Meridian were a strategic purchase in the office sector in the South East because of their strong core fundamentals. The company saw the opportunity to reposition the scheme. In accordance with the company’s long term investment strategy the buildings were refurbished to provide accommodation of the highest standard. The company is delighted with the outcome and looks forward to a long association with Whistl and delivering success on Medina in 2016.”
Medina is available and provides a self-contained HQ building of approximately 23,000 sq ft.
