The South West business community will have a chance to get an in-depth analysis of the regional property market at an event hosted by international property consultancy JLL later this month.
JLL’s annual South West Market Review analyses the performance of all market sectors across the South West, from offices and industrial to residential and leisure, with a particular focus on the Devon, Cornwall and south Somerset areas.
The event takes place on Thursday January 28, at Sandy Park, Exeter, at 6pm and is open to businesses across the region.
Charles Kislingbury, head of JLL’s Exeter office, said: “This event is a must for anyone who wants the inside track on what’s happening in property across Devon, Cornwall and south Somerset and the wider region. We will be looking at the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and emerging trends.”
Tim Western, JLL director also based in Exeter, added: “It’s important that our clients have a good understanding of the market and emerging trends that are influencing how property is used. To help us look ahead to how technology will shape our world, we are delighted to have secured guest speaker Dr Ian Pearson.”
Dr Pearson, who was instrumental in the creation of text messaging, is a full time futurologist who tracks and predicts developments across a wide range of technology, business, society, politics and the environment. He will be exploring what the world will be like in years to come, including how new technology will influence issues such as housing, transport and security.
Tim said: “There are big shifts taking place in the property market that will affect how businesses operate and this event will help them understand how these changes will affect their organisation and plan ahead.”
