Having spent more than £2 million on refurbishing the prime Taunton business space, Somerset-based property developer, Summerfield, are celebrating Victoria House and Viney Court reaching full capacity.
The well-known Taunton buildings now have, in excess of, 40 companies occupying the space, from sole traders to national companies. With over 150 people employed within the building, Summerfield has seen a considerable growth in the number of technology-based companies relocating to the site taking the occupancy overall from 48% in 2013 to 98% currently.
James Holyday, director at Summerfield, says; “Taunton’s improving commercial property market’s had an impact on helping us reach great occupancy levels. However, the ability to offer tailored space to accommodate businesses’ exact requirements, as well as providing support services, a great location and a dynamic working environment, enabled us to reach full occupancy in a short amount of time. We would like to thank all of the businesses and occupants of Victoria House and Viney Court for choosing us.”
A number of external companies are also taking advantage of the dedicated meeting rooms at the sites, just 2.5 miles from Junction 25 of the M5, which are available for hire and also offer fibre broadband as well access to the on-site café and free parking.
