CBRE Southampton announces three senior promotions

Simon Wilmot-Wilkinson

CBRE announces three senior promotions in its South Central Region. Simon Wilmot-Wilkinson has been appointed as Head of the Building Consultancy team following the retirement of Jonathan Fairchild in December. Liam Small has been promoted to Associate Director in Lease Consultancy and Tej Singh to Senior Surveyor in the Valuation team.

Simon Wilmot-Wilkinson joined CBRE Southampton in September 2014 having spent four years in the Bristol office. Simon’s appointment as head of Building Consultancy further strengthens the Building Surveying offer, both in terms of fulfilling increasingly diverse work streams and delivering business development opportunities.

Simon is an established ‘all-rounder’ within CBRE’s National Team Building Consultancy and has developed strong client relationships with both major investors and property businesses.

Liam Small joined CBRE’s Lease Consultancy team in 2013 providing advice to both landlords and tenants on lease renewals, rent reviews and lease re-gears for a range of commercial property across the region.

Tej Singh joined the Valuation team in 2014. His focus is predominately on valuations for loan security purposes, periodic portfolio valuations for institutions and funds, as well as advising private and institutional clients on a broad spectrum of work.

Commenting on the promotions, James Brounger, Regional Managing for CBRE Southampton, said: “Jonathan has been with CBRE for many years, growing the department hugely over that time and we are enormously grateful to him. Simon’s promotion to head the Building Consultancy department recognises his expertise in this field and his achievements since joining the Southampton office just over a year ago.

“Likewise Liam and Tej have continued to develop their roles within the regional team which has seen a substantial increase in activity and service line growth during 2015. These promotions reflect our continued investment across all our service lines.”
