Acting on behalf of Redefine International plc, the income-focused UK Real Estate Investment Trust (“UK-REIT”), Keningtons LLP have let the 28,740 sq ft Delta 900 building on Delta Office Park in Swindon to Oxford Brookes University.
Jeremy Sutton, Partner in the Swindon office of Keningtons comments: “ The parties have now completed an Agreement for Lease and on completion of works a new 15 year lease with a 10 year tenant break will commence. The rent agreed is based on a shell and core specification with the landlords making a capital contribution to create this initial specification. ”
Martin Conway of Marriots, the Oxford based Commercial property agents, who acted for Oxford Brookes University, adds : “ The University will now commence a comprehensive refurbishment prior to relocating the existing Swindon Campus which offers nursing degrees, diploma courses and research.”.
