Lambert Smith Hampton’s Southampton office has expanded its valuation team with the appointment of Sam Hoida as a chartered surveyor.
Sam, who holds a master of planning degree, joins LSH from Bournemouth Borough Council where he worked for three years providing estate management services, including negotiating and granting leases, selling and acquiring land and negotiating rent reviews. As part of LSH’s valuation team, Sam will provide valuation advice for lenders and insolvency practitioners across a mix of property types and uses throughout the South Coast and South East regions.
Commenting on the appointment, Graham Holland, Head of Lambert Smith Hampton’s Southampton office, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sam to the team and are confident that he will make a fantastic contribution to continuing the great success we have enjoyed across the region over the past ten or so years in particular. Sam’s appointment demonstrates the quality and calibre of employee that we choose to join the team here and we have no doubt that he will fit in extremely well in providing our clients with the detailed knowledge and advice that we pride ourselves on.”
Explaining why he wanted to join LSH, Sam says: “LSH’s long-standing presence in the sector and strong reputation for staff retention showed that joining the team would strengthen my career progress and professional development over the long term.”
The ongoing expansion of the South Coast team builds on another highly successful year. In EGI’s (Estates Gazette’s online service) annual agency rankings – the competition for the country’s most active agents, LSH was once named the most active commercial property agent in Hampshire for 2015, for a remarkable ninth year in a row.
