Acting on behalf of Ashtenne, Alder King Property consultants has let units 13, 14 and 15 Quadrant Centre, Quedgeley, Gloucester, to Lister Petter, represented by Auriga Estates.
The global provider of clean, reliable, long-lasting diesel and gas engines, generating sets and pumps, is creating a new European distribution centre which will incorporate their worldwide parts operation. The hub joins other hubs in New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.
The three units will be joined together, and will comprise a total of 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) of warehouse, including 1,845 sq ft (171.5 sq m) of first floor office space with allocated parking for each unit.
The long established, Dursley based company, chose the Quadrant Centre for a number of reasons, not least its location; situated less than 1.5 miles from junction 12 of the M5, the Centre provides great access to the main arteries around the UK.
Over the last 12 months, eight units have been let, leaving just three remaining on flexible terms.
The Quadrant Centre also benefits from a number of useful amenities close by, including a 106 bed Holiday Inn Express hotel, a public house, and a park and ride scheme serving Gloucester city centre. In addition, the Quedgeley District Centre Retail Park is approximately one mile away.
