The Cheltenham office of national audit, tax and advisory firm Crowe Clark Whitehill has hit a milestone in its ongoing growth.
The firm, which has outgrown its main Carrick House offices during 2015, now has 100 people in Gloucestershire and The Cotswolds, making it one of the largest accountancy offices in the region.
In January this year, the Cheltenham-based global outsourcing division, moved out of Carrick House into a 4,100 sq ft space in Festival House, Jessop Avenue.
Managing partner Richard Austin said it was particularly pleasing that local growth had come from a broad range of work ranging from outsourcing, corporate and family businesses and private clients. Advice on property has been increasingly popular.
“The growth has been consistent across corporate audit, not for profit, advisory and tax,” he said.
“When global outsourcing moved into Festival House, it created space to further expand our expertise in the above areas, for example, building on our existing VAT specialists.
“Our headcount has grown significantly. In December 2015 we reached the milestone of 100 employees who are servicing clients locally and across the world.”
Now Mr Austin is predicting further growth.
“Our offer to family business, major corporates, the property sector and individuals is a strong one, and this is creating opportunities for talented and committed staff to join us. But we’re not finished yet, we are a firm that keeps on moving. We expect to continue to grow in 2016 and beyond.
“There is opportunity here for people at all levels as we continue to contribute to the development of the professional workforce in Gloucestershire.”
