A new transition board for the Cardiff Capital Region has been established and will include Dan Langford, Group Marketing & Communications Director, of leading, multi-specialist recruitment and training agency Acorn.
The revamped transition board, which was set up in November 2013 by Business Minister Edwina Hart will be chaired by former Director for BT in Wales, Ann Beynon.
The board has been tasked with helping to manage any transition as governance evolves, including; integrating and aligning the agenda established by the previous board with emerging developments such as the Metro phase 2 and the Cardiff City Deal.
Referencing his new appointment, Dan said: “With a raft of projects on the horizon for South Wales, I’m delighted and honoured to be involved in helping to lead the next stage of the Cardiff Capital Region.”
With more than 23 years in the business, Acorn is the largest recruitment and training firm in Wales and in the leading 1% of all agencies across the UK. Acorn operates from 39 branches across Wales, the South West, North West and South East of England, as well as three Acorn Global offices in Australia.
