Hortons’ Estate has secured two new lettings at Marchington Industrial Estate in Staffordshire.
Euro Demolition & Dismantling Ltd has taken 15,700 sq ft on a five-year lease at Unit 17, while Security Plus Limited has taken 7,334 sq ft, also on a five-year lease, at Unit 106.
Marchington Industrial Estate comprises more than 1 million sq ft of industrial and warehousing space in 34 buildings, ranging from 300 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft.
Hortons’ acquired the estate in 2013 and has invested more than £1million in the development. It is currently refurbishing a 75,000 sq ft unit at a cost of £700,000 and has submitted a planning application to build a new 6,500 sq ft unit.
Nina Meeks, management surveyor at Hortons’, said: “Marchington Industrial Estate is a real success story, as these recent lettings demonstrate. The size of units, coupled with the flexible and competitive lease terms and the estate’s location close to a good road network, are a big draw for occupiers.
“We are in talks with potential occupiers on a number of other units, which we hope to secure in the near future.”
