Gregory Property Group has started work on site to deliver a new Sainsbury’s Local on a vacant site at Bradford Road, Menston, West Yorkshire.
The Leeds based developer secured planning approval in July this year to transform the site, next to American Golf, which was formerly a car showroom but has lain redundant for some time.
Gregory Property Group is building a 4,000 sq. ft retail store for Sainsbury’s with three one bedroom and one two bedroom apartments situated above. It will also introduce a pedestrian crossing on the busy Bradford Road with additional highway and access improvements.
Andrew Foggitt, Development Director at Gregory Property Group said, “We are pleased to be able to progress development after a lengthy process through planning. The new scheme provides much needed convenience facilities and apartments, suitable for first time buyers, in a very popular residential location.”
The scheme, located just a few minutes’ walk from Menston’s railway station, is expected to be completed by late Summer 2016.
Gregory Property Group is a local, award winning developer of mixed-use and commercial property schemes across Yorkshire.
