Work at St. Modwen’s new 16 acre Gateway 12 Business Park in Gloucester, near Junction 12 of the M5 is well underway with the first building completed and more accommodation underway.
ProCook, cookware and kitchen suppliers have just signed a deal to occupy the first 41,000 sq ft unit; a second 40,500 sq ft speculative unit is also under construction with a planning application submitted to continue delivery.
Pete Davies, Senior Development Manager for St. Modwen in the South West, said:
“We have signed an agreement with ProCook for the first 41,000 sq ft speculative unit at Gateway 12. After outgrowing their current facility, these new premises will allow them to continue to expand their operations.
“The next building will provide 40,500 sq ft of prime warehouse and industrial accommodation available for purchase or rent, with work due to complete in summer 2016. We can also deliver bespoke facilities to meet specific occupier requirements.”

“It was vital that we obtained new warehouse/offices of sufficient size and standard to support significant current and projected growth in ProCook’s retail and web operations. We are delighted to be moving to Gateway 12 Business Park near Quedgeley in the New Year which will enable us to further grow our business while building on our local roots”.
Local contractor, Barnwood Construction is delivering the work on behalf of developer, St. Modwen, as part of its ongoing contract, worth £3m.
