Property consultancy Alder King has let Unit C9 Lakeside Business Park in South Cerney to award-winning Cirencester furniture company BespOak Interiors, just over a year after the business was established by Daniel Lee.
Set up in September 2014, BespOak Interiors designs and builds handmade solid oak furniture and shelving. Its trademark tree shelves products, which look like a growing tree, won the Business Innovation of the Year category at the 2015 Cirencester Business Awards.
After a first year of very strong growth, the company is now relocating its workshop from Cirencester to Lakeside Business Park in South Cerney to facilitate further expansion.
Lakeside Business Park is a mixed use estate developed during the mid-2000s and is now home to a multitude of local and national occupiers. Unit C9 is a mid-terraced industrial unit extending to circa 1,580 sq ft (147 sq m) with a roller shutter access and a mezzanine first floor, all set within a secure yard. BespOak has signed a three year lease.
Martin Baker of Alder King commented: “We are delighted to welcome BespOak Interiors to Lakeside Business Park. We are confident that the property will be a good fit for them and allow them scope to expand their business. Levels of interest in the remaining units is strong, with C11 also under offer.”
