Office workers in Bristol are being given the chance to spice up their lunchtime eating habits with Indian food delivered to their desks.
Indian restaurant 4,500 Miles from Delhi in Colston Avenue, Bristol is launching a catering service for business people across the city, delivering authentic Indian dishes for a light lunch.
Marketing manager Murthy Ganta said: “You don’t have to have sandwiches and wraps for lunch every day. Good healthy Indian food that is specially designed for lunchtime eating is an alternative.
“For those who don’t have time to go to a restaurant at lunchtime we are offering a catering delivery service for orders over £10. We have changed some of our dishes slightly so that they are not quite as spicy as the evening equivalent and will suit a snack in the middle of the day.
“We are hoping it will prove popular with businesses who want to give clients something a little different or for those businesses who want to have a staff meeting – or just for those who love Indian food and don’t see why they can’t have it at lunchtime.”
Lunchtime dishes will be tailor made so businesses can ring up to discuss requirements. Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian platters will be available for £4.95 per person.
With its pen plan ‘theatre’ kitchen, the city centre-based restaurant has already proved popular with foodies across Bristol.
The team now hopes this new service will enable those who enjoy Indian food at its best to do so any time of the day!
