On behalf of Columbia Threadneedle Investments, the industrial teams at property consultants JLL and B8 Real Estate have let Unit 9 Broadfield Business Park on Pilsworth Road, Heywood, North Manchester to Alliance Disposables Limited.
The business has upsized and relocated from Lostock, Bolton to the modern and secure Broadfield Business Park, where they now occupy a unit measuring 32,905 sq ft by way of a new 6 year lease and paying £5.25 psf.
Alliance Disposables is a supplier of non-food products to the hospitality, catering and leisure sectors and their new warehouse will be used for storage and distribution.
Richard Johnson, Associate Director, Industrial and Logistics at JLL said “Alliance Disposables needed larger and more modern distribution premises built to a high specification and in particular with a generous eaves height, level access and dock-level loading and a secure service yard. Broadfield Business Park satisfied their requirement well and also offered the added benefit of on-site security.
“This letting leaves just Unit 3 and Unit 6 available, which measure 22,451 sq ft and 23,140 sq ft respectively and due to the lack of modern Grade A competing space in the area, we are confident of letting another unit soon.”
JLL and B8 Real Estate advised Collingwood Rigby who asset manage the estate on behalf of Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Alliance Disposables were unrepresented.
