Leading Plymouth commercial property specialists Bruton Knowles have completed on their quickest ever deal – signing off an emergency office move in just two hours!
Mark Slade from Bruton Knowles’ Lockyer Street office said the drama began at noon on November 4 when he took a call from Mark Harrod of Synergy Chartered Accountants who needed to find new accommodation “at a moment’s notice.”
“I took a look at the available properties and suggested the new serviced office complex Thrive Hubs on Ocean Crescent.
“They had agreed terms within an hour and by 3.30pm Mark was plugging his phone in at his new office.”
It was a suitably dramatic letting for Thrive Hubs – which offers workspace, offices and desks for Plymouth’s small business entrepreneurs.
Mark said: “Thrive Hubs is a newly converted business facility offering a full range of services on the most flexible terms. Serviced offices are ideal for small start-ups as they can take as much or as little space as they need – and even hot desk if they want to.
“They actively encourage collaboration and productive connections amongst the business community and I was very impressed with their commitment and determination to get Mark’s business re-located within a couple of hours and with the minimum of fuss.
“These moves normally take weeks to agree and arrange and this deal typlifies the can do, will do approach Thrive Hubs is working to achieve.”
Situated in the city centre, Thrive Hubs Ocean Crescent offers a unique co-working space right in the heart of Plymouth and offers everything from a single ‘My Desk’ package up to office accommodation along with meeting room and event spaces.
Thrive Hubs has now let six offices to small businesses with eight remaining.
Mark Slade concluded: “Completing a move deal in a couple of hours demonstrates the flexibility small businesses need in order to establish themselves in an improving market place. This may have been the quickest deal they will do but it certainly won’t be the last!”
