Office design and fit-out specialist, Paramount Interiors has been appointed by ITV to undertake the refurbishment of the broadcaster’s production galleries and offices in both Bristol and Birmingham.
The appointment follows Paramount’s successful completion of the ITV Cymru Wales studios at the landmark 3 Assembly Square in Cardiff Bay, which opened in June 2014 and replaced its former studios at Culverhouse Cross in Cardiff.
Due to the scale and complexity of the two projects, which have a combined value of £1.3 million, they will be completed over several phases with both the refurbished Bristol and Birmingham studios scheduled to be completed in spring 2016.
Paramount will be responsible for the design and fit-out of an extensive range of facilities including production and sound galleries, editing suites, dressing rooms, voice-over rooms, meeting space and office accommodation.

The brief was to create a fresh, new modern look with bold use of the ITV brand colours set against a predominantly white interior. This allows all three of the studios to have complete consistency.”

In May of this year, Paramount won an award for the Best Fit Out of a Workplace in South West England, Thames Valley and South Wales at the annual British Council for Offices’ regional property sector awards. It has also previously won a gold award at the prestigious Association of Interiors Specialists’ (AIS) awards for its fit out of the KPMG offices in Cardiff Bay and last year it was, shortlisted for a British Council For Offices (BCO) award for the design of its own ShowOffice in St Mellons, on the outskirts of Cardiff as well as being shortlisted for an AIS Award for the Airbus Defence & Space Customer Experience Centre.
