Sanderson Weatherall is celebrating after three of its trainees qualified as chartered surveyors.
Lawrence Pinder, Dominic Towler and Matt Turner have become full members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) by passing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) training.
Lawrence works within the valuation department at the firm’s Manchester office, while Dominic and Matt are based in Leeds in the agency and valuation teams respectively.
Congratulating the successful candidates, David Rastrick, partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “Everyone at the firm is very pleased that Lawrence, Matt and Dominic have successfully qualified as chartered surveyors. They have proved themselves throughout their training to be extremely capable and their performances have been outstanding. We look forward to them further developing their careers with us.
“Our latest APC candidates have all passed their RICS Assessment of Professional Competence on their first attempt which is also fantastic news and a further testament to the quality of work, training and experience they receive, which is something the entire firm is very proud of.”
The APC consists of a written submission and a professional interview. These take place after acquiring at least two years’ relevant experience and completing a structured training programme, which provides a broad range of experience across different disciplines and departments.
At Sanderson Weatherall, candidates prepare for the assessment by taking part in mock interviews and receiving advice from external consultants on presentation and interview skills.
Lawrence and Matt are both graduates of Sheffield Hallam University and Dominic graduated from Nottingham Trent University.
Sanderson Weatherall has regional offices in Newcastle, Teesside, Darlington, York, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Exeter and London, employs around 200 people and has a turnover of £14m.
The firm provides a complete range of property, machinery and business asset services across a range of sectors. These comprise retail, residential, offices, industrial, leisure, roadside, healthcare, public sector and third sector.
