Leading Nottingham-based property consultants Bruton Knowles has expanded its city centre team with the appointment of graduate surveyor Andrew Hunt.
Twenty-two-year-old Andrew will begin his career at Bruton Knowles after graduating from Nottingham Trent University last year with a degree in planning and developing.
His appointment is the latest in a number of vacancies to be filled at Bruton Knowles this year, as part of the firm’s strategic growth plans over the coming months.
Working across a variety of projects and schemes in Nottingham, Andrew is keen to get fully immersed in the role.
He said: “I was thrilled to hear I had been successful in my interview and couldn’t wait to start working at Bruton Knowles. I’ve now been here just over a week and I am settling into the team very well.
“I will be working across a variety of schemes throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, including overseeing our work with the NET tram service which is very exciting.”
Andrew will also be working towards his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) qualification at Bruton Knowles, which will allow him to become a fully qualified chartered surveyor.
Andrew added: “The APC qualification will provide me with an understanding and variety of skills to allow me to develop my career even further at Bruton Knowles.
“The firm is a brilliant company to work for both on a national level but also locally. They have achieved an excellent reputation in the property sector and Nottingham over the past few years and I am very much looking forward to furthering my career within the team and undertaking the exciting challenges ahead.”
Partner at Bruton Knowles James Bailey added: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team during a busy period of growth and expansion for Bruton Knowles.
“Andrew brings to Bruton Knowles a great eagerness and willingness to learn and we look forward to seeing him progress through his career with us.”
