The North West industrial teams at JLL and Davies Harrison have sold eight units at S:Park in Stockport on behalf of developers Chancerygate, signalling that 85% of the speculatively-developed scheme has now been acquired.
The latest deals total more than 28,000 sq ft and include an 11,808 sq ft unit acquired by prestige car rental firm AMT Vehicle Rental. Seven additional units, ranging from 1,788 sq ft to 3,787 sq ft, have been sold to a range of businesses including Tagra Lighting, Phoenix Labels and Cutmaster.
There are now only two units of 9,323 sq ft and 9,441 sq ft available at the park.
Chancerygate’s S:Park comprises 15 industrial warehouse units located adjacent to the M60. The new arrivals will join existing occupiers including Chinese electrics firm CHINT, Jaguar Land Rover dealership and Big Yellow Self Storage.
Andrew Lynn, director at JLL, said: “With very limited stock of this kind of quality industrial space available in the North West, schemes which boast a strong location like S:Park are in a great position to keep securing new occupiers”.
Mike Walker, Development Director for Chancerygate in Manchester, comments: “We were the first developer to undertake a speculative development of this type in the North West in the current cycle and these deals demonstrate it was the right decision. We have provided space that is suited to the needs of modern businesses. We are actively looking for further sites across the North and North West to keep this momentum going.”
JLL and Davies Harrison are joint agents for the development.
