Highbridge’s popular Lakeview development at Sherwood Business Park is nearing capacity, thanks to the letting of over 7,000 sq ft of office space to global management and technical consultancy company WYG plc.
In a deal brokered by property agents Innes England and Lambert Smith Hampton, WYG now occupies the entire Geneva Building, which is part of the Lakeview development.
WYG will join other international names already there including Canadian software firm Matrikon and global logistics company DHL together with the regional headquarters of a major government body. Occupancy on the development is now at over 70%.
Working with clients in the built and natural environment in over 40 countries, WYG boasts more than1,400 expert consultants around the world. Spanning sectors including planning, design, transport, engineering and international development, its advice and project management helps shape physical landscapes and communities around the globe.
Guy Marsden of Highbridge Properties said: ‘Highbridge is delighted to welcome WYG to Lakeview. They’re an ideal tenant for the site with a global profile and strong regional presence. They were already occupiers elsewhere on the park and were already won over by the fantastic working environment offered by the business park, combined with excellent transport links afforded by its situation immediately adjacent to junction 27 of M1 motorway.
“The Geneva building offered them the opportunity to acquire their own self contained Grade A offices offering flexibility in the use of the space for the company’s different divisions combined with a generous parking provision outside of Nottingham’s Workplace Parking Levy zone.
Andrew Ellingworth, group property director, WYG said, “Lambert Smith Hampton provided us with an excellent and proactive service in relation to our move to the Geneva Building. We provided Phil Quiggin and his team with a host of unique challenges that LSH overcome quickly and professionally.”
Craig Straw of agents Innes England added: “This international name will join others such as L’Oreal, Prolog and Rolls Royce on the business park. Highbridge’s ethos in the Lakeview’s design was to offer a broad range of self contained office buildings to suit occupier’s accommodation requirements both now and in the future. Once again this has borne fruit with the latest letting to WYG and although the scheme is now over 70% occupied, the flexibility in design means that we are still able to offer a broad range of options from 1,600sqft up to 30,000sqft.”
Phil Quiggin of LSH said: “WYG charged LSH with finding top quality offices on the most flexible terms. Highbridge enabled us to tick all the boxes at the Geneva building and the property should prove an excellent home for our client’s Nottingham office.“
Innes England and NG Chartered Surveyors are agents on Lakeview.
