10,070 sq ft has been let by Gladman Developments on Staffordshire Technology Park to a national digital forensics company.
The letting to Intaforensics brings its total number of offices in the UK to five and sees the market turning a corner in Stafford, as Kevin Millar from Millar Sandy, joint letting agents with Jonathan Carmalt from JLL reports:
“We certainly seem to be seeing good interest at the present time in offices in the area with letting volumes up from where they were three to four years ago. The resurgence in the office market in stronger regional centres such as Birmingham and Coventry is clearly now reaching locations such as Stafford as the economy picks up.
“Gladman’s unit at Parker Court was one of the few of its size vacant in the area at the time and clearly Intaforensics seized the chance as opportunties like this don’t come along very often.”
Jonathan Carmalt from JLL added: “Staffordshire Technology Park is strategically very well placed for a national operator requiring ease of movement between offices for both employees and clients. It’s close to Stafford town centre and the motorway network and also benefits from extremely good rail connections to London, Manchester and Birmingham.”
Gladman Developments has over 25 years property experience in a range of sectors including office and industrial accomodation, retirement living and more recently, strategic land promotion.
Romy Silvers from Gladman Developments said: “Our success in Stafford is indicative of a national trend being experienced across our office portfolio as Grade A stock dwindles in many towns and cities due to a lack of specualtive building. Occupiers are realising they need to make the move now as any new build offices will take time to filter into the marketplace, at which point they may be one of several trying to negotiate tenancy.”
