The artisans at Heavenly Desserts are set to open their first restaurant in Nottingham this November, within metres of the Old Market Square at 6 Angel Row, in a lease agreed by FHP acting on behalf of private clients.
It’s a unique addition to Nottingham bringing consumers an alternative night time venue, enabling people to swap after dinner drinks for after dinner desserts, whilst simultaneously acting as a daytime social hub. The location is to set them in good stead in a thriving part of the City, appealing to diners at the surrounding restaurants such as Las Iguanas, Marrakesh, Nando’s, Ask, Sinartra’s and FAT CAT, and visitors of the many events held at the Old Market Square throughout the year.
The opening also comes alongside fellow newcomers, Zaap, a Thai street food restaurant, opening in November at Bromley Place.
Alan Pearson of FHP adds:
“It’s a pivotal time for Nottingham’s leisure scene. We have seen other big names such as George’s Kitchen, Reds True Barbeque and Bills have success in the City; Heavenly Desserts is expected to come as no exception. They cater to a niche market where the City has previously not ventured. Having a specific focus, where other restaurants haven’t specialised, will allow them to stand prominent within the City. It also brings a new dimension to the restaurant scene, bringing more options for younger consumers and those simply opting for a more relaxed evening.”
Established in 2007, Heavenly Desserts focus on quality and variety which extends to both their take-out and eat-in menus; this will be their fourth establishment, joining existing restaurants in Birmingham and Leicester and café at Intu Derby, which was also let by FHP.
The lease for the 3,873 sq ft unit has been taken on a 10 year term.
FHP acted on behalf of landlords, whilst the tenants represented themselves.
