IT specialist Port-P is moving into the heart of Birmingham city centre in a deal put together by property agency Bond Wolfe.
The business, which this year celebrates its 21st birthday, has taken the third floor at Grade II Listed 37a Waterloo Street, on a seven year lease.
The 1,934 sq ft unit was formerly occupied by wealth management group WH Ireland.
James Mattin, managing partner of Bond Wolfe, said: “The improved city centre office market has led to an increased demand for prime locations as a return in confidence has allowed companies such as Port-P to take the next step of raising their profile.
“We have one floor left at this building and expect it to go quickly as demand for sub 2,000 sq ft office suites is outstripping supply.”
Port-P started out in 1994 selling toner cartridges but now offers cutting-edge IT solutions.
Services include deploying servers, data storage and networking as well as supplying PCs, peripherals and supplies.
Centred in Birmingham, London and Manchester, it has UK-wide engineering and sales functions. In addition, it offers demonstration facilities in London and Birmingham.
No 37a is located on the corner of Waterloo Street and Bennetts Hill.
