A trio of commercial property deals in Birmingham have been successfully brokered with the support of Vail Williams.
The first of three was the letting of 4,000 square feet of office space at the nine-storey Townend House in Park Street in the centre of Walsall.
The other two agreements were a development deal for a former Royal British Legion property in Londonderry Lane, Smethwick, Walsall, and filling the final available unit at Sterling Park industrial estate in Pedmore Road, Brierley Hill.
Steven Bott, Vail Williams Senior Surveyor, said: “The success of the deals Vail Williams has helped to broker is a signal of the wider momentum that the Midlands economy is steadily building up, in line with the rest of the UK.
“Finding the right properties for businesses to expand into is a crucial part of sustaining this economic growth, which brings more jobs, greater investment and improved opportunities. We’re ready and waiting to help other organisations step up.”
At Townend House, Vail Williams helped arrange a deal for Age UK to relocate from another site in Walsall to a new base on the fifth floor. The position gives the charity a well-connected base in the heart of Walsall town centre, just 1.3 miles from Junction 10 of the M6.
The second deal was a development opportunity at a disused former Royal British Legion property in Londonderry Lane. Vail Williams brokered the sale of the 0.59-acre site to a local investor.
The third premises,at Sterling Park, is now home to Pound Shop Online in a deal jointly brokered with Halls Commercial. The 5,473-square foot warehouse/industrial unit owned by Intu, includes an 800-square foot mezzanine level.
