The Bridgend Industrial Estate has recently been re-branded as part of plans by the new owners of the estate to freshen up its image and improve awareness of the estate.
Following the acquisition of the Bridgend Industrial Estate back in September 2013 there has been a recognition by both the landlords and asset managers Collingwood Rigby that the estate ‘brand’ logos and signage had not been altered since the estate was sold by the Welsh Development Agency back in 1999.
Marketing company Kubiak Design were appointed with a brief to modernise the Bridgend Industrial Estate ‘brand’, and through an extensive consultancy process a new logo for the estate has been designed and implemented.
Visually the estate has also benefited from the installation of a significant number of new estate road signs and tenancy boards with the aim to improve the awareness of the estate to make it more ‘user friendly’ for existing tenants and visitors. This has included zoning the estate into 5 coloured areas.
As part of the re-branding exercise the landlords have also awarded a contract to Interserve Ltd. to undertake a complete refurbishment of 17 units on the estate with a project management rolebeing undertaken by Workman LLP.
Welcoming the new brand and property refurbishment programme, retained estate letting agents DLP Surveyors and Jenkins Best commented, “from a local perspective we are pleased that the landlords, advised by their asset managers Collingwood Rigby, have recognised that this major South Wales business location will benefit from a fresh approach and a modernisation programme. We are confident that the new branding of the estate, coupled with an extensive refurbishment programme will benefit existing occupiers and attract additional quality tenants and in turn provide a boost to the wider economy in general.”
