Occupier demand for Bristol remains strong, as national, regional and local operators remain eager to gain representation in the City. In addition to this, occupiers who are already based in Bristol are keen to increase their presence.
Analysing the latest commercial property requirements, Adam Crooks from The Requirement List said: “Bristol continues to attract new occupiers to the City across all sectors. Restaurant operators who originate from London are venturing out in to the regions and Bristol is often a priority location. These currently include operators such as Cabana, Vapiano and Chilango. The likes of Wahaca, Five Guys and Byron Burger have recently been successful in securing sites. Popular local eateries such as Spicer & Cole, Flour & Ash, Bagel Boy, Poco and Chomp are also actively looking for additional locations to add to their existing presence in the City”.
Data from The Requirement List also highlights that High Street retailers are actively looking for representation in the City, these include Salt Rock, Pavers, The Fragrance Shop and Barkers.
High levels of demand are evident in all sectors. Adam stated “Active requirements from pub chains, trade counters and budget gyms contribute towards the high requirement levels for the City”.
Although high requirement levels for the City will likely lead to increased competition for sites. The latest data further highlights the popularity of Bristol’s commercial property market.
