Beach Baker Ltd, the expert recruiters to the Real Estate, Programme and Project Management Industries, has announced the expansion of its head office in Bristol with a new office space in one of the city’s prime business locations, Queen Square. The new location will enable further expansion of the Bristol team; provide a stronger local presence in the city and offer a more flexible and accessible venue for meetings and events.
Queen Square, completed 1727, is situated in the heart of Bristol and was originally the most sought after residential address in city. It has been through many changes over the years and has markedly evolved from residential to business use. With many of the Georgian buildings now having listed status, its green space surrounded by offices is a popular retreat for nearby workers and visitors to Bristol. The Square is also used for public events and has been used by the BBC for the filming of productions such as Sherlock Holmes and Casualty.
Commenting on the move, Rupert Stuart-Baker, Director, said: “We’ve had a number of new people join the team recently and the new office substantially increases the amount of capacity we have. The new much larger open plan office provides the opportunity for both Bristol based staff and those working around the country to spend more time with clients in the South West.”
New recruit Jonathon Jay, who previously worked for Reed, specialises in the Business Services sector throughout the South West and Midlands and joined Beach Baker in May. He has already had great success with several placements including Commercial Sales Negotiators, Block Managers, Property Administrators, Secretaries, PA’s and Researchers into a range of clients, from global property consultancies to developers and block management firms.
