Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has once again been named the most active commercial property agent in Hampshire for 2015 by Estates Gazette’s online service – EGi – in its annual competition for the country’s most active agents.
The team’s success over the course of the year ensured that LSH has now won the Hampshire award for a remarkable ninth year in a row. The firm picked up the coveted title at Estates Gazette’s annual Southampton Focus reception, which took place at the Royal Southampton Yacht club.
The EGi assessment team gathered information regarding all deals transacted in 2015, covering every sector of the market including industrial, office, retail, leisure and capital markets. With approximately 30 employees working across the firm’s Southampton, Winchester and Fareham offices, LSH recorded 122 deals over the year, more than any other national firm across Hampshire.
During 2015, the Hampshire team has been involved in a variety of notable deals, including the acquisition of Marchwood and Cracknore Hard Industrial Estates for Associated British Ports (ABP) in January. The estates are one of the largest self-contained industrial holdings in the South East with a total area of 113.73 acres and house a range of high profile occupiers, such as Ocado, LaFarge, Biffa, ATS Euromaster, Royal Mail, Elliott Group and Veolia.
Commenting on the accolade, Graham Holland, Head of Lambert Smith Hampton’s Southampton office, said:
“To win this award for the ninth consecutive year is a real testament to the strength of our agency presence across Hampshire and the hard work we have put in over the course of 2015. We have an extremely capable team who know the Hampshire market very well and are able to provide our clients with detailed knowledge and advice. We will be working hard to make it ten consecutive years in 2016.”
