Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is delighted to announce that Simon Cornelius-Light has been appointed its new Head of Office in Exeter.
Simon, who formerly worked for ES Group / Edward Symmons for 25 years before its acquisition by LSH, will work closely with the LSH team in Bristol to grow the company’s presence in the South West.
Simon first joined Edward Symmons’ Southampton office as a junior valuer in 1990, before moving and setting up a specialist Machinery and Business Assets (MBA) division in its Bristol, Plymouth and Exeter offices.
He is well-known amongst the region’s insolvency practitioners, lenders and lawyers, and his extensive experience includes providing valuation & disposal advice on both tangible and intangible assets across a wide range of industry sectors, from engineering and pharmaceutical to renewable energy and food.
In his new role, Simon will focus on expanding the company’s service lines locally, consolidating the business’ agency offer and developing the current team of experienced property consultants and machinery & business asset valuers.
Head of South West Region Darren Sheward said: “I am delighted that Simon has accepted the head of office role. He is highly regarded and respected in the market and I look forward to working with Simon in the future as we continue to grow our offer.”
Simon’s appointment comes at a time of significant expansion for LSH’s Exeter office, which has recently appointed a number of new staff. As a result, the Exeter office is now able to offer not only MBA expertise but also rating, commercial and development agency, lease advisory, planning, public sector, property management and valuation services to the local and regional market.
Simon said: “I’m hugely looking forward to getting started in my new role heading up the Exeter office. It’s an exciting time for LSH in the South West, and with a move to new offices also just around the corner, we are looking ahead to 2016 with renewed vigour.”
