Developer Wheatcroft Land has worked in partnership with property specialists TPS to secure planning consent for a new value led retail park on the outskirts of Derby City Centre.
The Burton Road site, owned by Wheatcroft Land, will be anchored by a 15,000 sq. ft Aldi supermarket with four further units available within an adjacent retail terrace, ranging from 1,230 to 7,500 sq. ft.
Now planning permission has been granted, Wheatcroft Land and TPS are working with property agents FHP to secure tenants for these remaining units.
Neal Dale, Director at TPS, commented: “We are delighted with the recent planning consent and look forward to work commencing on site in 2016 once we have secured our target occupiers for the development”.
Wheatcroft Land’s Director, Catherine Haward, stated: “We chose TPS to assist us in delivering this new scheme due to the professional, personal approach they provide. Their expertise in development and project management supports and complements our company and this current development is one of many we hope to deliver with TPS.”
Wheatcroft Land and TPS are actively looking for land and similar development opportunities in the area.
