Hunter Real Estate Investment Managers (Hunter) has announced a trio of lettings totalling 16,600 sq ft at its Exchange Quay office development in Salford Quays, taking its 2015 office deals up to 10.
Beauty Bay, the UK’s largest independent online beauty retailer, has signed a 5 year lease for 7,609 sq ft on the 12th floor of Number Building No 5. The leading online retailer is moving from Trafford Park.
Leading UK promotional agency, Bo-Concepts, is relocating to Exchange Quay from Sovereign House in Cheadle into a 2,002 sq ft suite in Number 8 on a 10 year term. Additionally, existing occupier Environmental Resources Management (ERM) has committed to Exchange Quay with a new 5 year lease on 7,000 sq ft in Number Building No 5.
Hunter’s agency team of Canning O’Neill, Matthews & Goodman and Savills has secured 10 deals at Exchange Quay this year including 15,000 sq ft to leading UK independent financial adviser, Chase De Vere, a further 10 year commitment from Sage on a newly refurbished 28,000 sq ft suite and leases to GlaxoSmithkline Research & Development Ltd (GSK), Boxchange Associates, Wurth Electronics, North West Employers, international consultancy RPS and marketing agency K2L.
Hunter’s £10M refurbishment programme is nearing completion at Exchange Quay with the six office buildings upgraded to Grade A specification, extensive remodelling of the whole public realm and the introduction of a range of occupier facilities.

Exchange Quay’s six office buildings range from 26,151 sq ft to 116,684 sq ft. The development, which also boasts its own dedicated Metrolink tram stop, is strategically located just off Trafford Road which links Salford Quays to both Manchester City Centre and the major motorway networks via the M602.
